Welcome to 804braids and more where Peace and Healthy hair live. Versatile stylist SimoneJ also known as Monae is a passionate about her craft. She has won several "Best Natural Hair RVA" awards, participated in Atlanta Braidfest and won "Fastest Braider Award, has done educational hair presentations for Virginia Natural Beauty Mega Expo for several years and was an educator with the Weave Xperts team based in NJ for 3years.

 

     With over 20years of experience Simone continues to grow and learn. She educates her clients and others of healthy hair practices as well as building up people internally. In 2020, Simone became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with a focus on trauma, healing and reconciliation. Simone teaches hair braiding paired with life skills to youth and adults looking to grow as individuals. The passion she has for people is why you have 804Braids and More Inc. Where we care More about you becoming the best version of yourself, hair is just an extension. Simone is also partnered with Engage Food Pantry and Resources where we have fed over 50,000 people in the year 2022.
